Sunday Nights

Sunday nights are an exciting time at Denver Baptist. It is a time for family and friends and also a time to gather for administrative purposes. Check out the schedule below and join us for all of our Sunday night activites.

1st Sunday Night – Family Worship Gathering
Our DBC Family will gather at 5:30 for dinner, taking
the Lord’s Supper together, and music. Family Worship
Gatherings will be family-friendly events that will be
conducive to all ages!

2nd Sunday Night – INVEST
Grab a family that doesn’t know Jesus and INVEST in
them. Take them out for ice cream, meet them at a park
or just invite them to your house for a good ‘ol BBQ.

3rd Sunday Night – GPS Night
This is the night of administration when all committees
and leadership teams will gather, pray and strategize.

4th Sunday Night – Family Worship Night
Be intentional to spend a section of this day in family
worship. Be creative and work as a family to decide
how you want to worship God as a family that day.
Once you’ve discovered some creative ideas, share them
with other families and continue doing them together!

About Denver Baptist Church

The Beginning
In 1982, 18 people gathered together under the direction of Center View Baptist Church in Maiden to begin a Baptist mission in Denver. This work began to grow in a wonderful way. On January 1, 1984 this mission became constituted as a church and was named Denver Baptist Church.

The past years have brought rapid growth to the community and to Denver Baptist Church. DBC offers worship, Bible Study and fellowship opportunities each week. God continues to bless and DBC is still growing strong.

Isn’t it amazing how Denver is growing? Whether you have lived here your entire life or just moved here, it is great to live in the Denver area. We feel honored that Denver Baptist Church is a part of this community.

At Denver Baptist, we summarize our purpose with one word-connect. We believe that God created us to connect with Him, to have a relationship with Him. In everything we do, we emphasize the need for man to connect with God through Jesus Christ.

We also believe that we need each other. It is our desire to connect with one another in such a way that nobody in our fellowship stands alone. Our congregation is serious about following Jesus’ command to love one another. Finally, we believe that we are called to connect with the community. It is our desire to serve the community, and to be a positive influence in such a negative world. We want to be faithful to let the community and the world see Jesus through his church.
