Denver Baptist Church partners with families to:
- Glorify God by making disciples who advance the gospel
- Equip parents to evangelize and disciple their children through the gospel
- Encourage gospel growth within a covenant community of believers
- Help the family develop a mission-mindset
The Children’s Ministry offers gospel-centered sessions, as well as many other fun and educational activities and programs. Sunday mornings at 9:15 am-10:15 am children in grades K-5 participate in Power Up. Power Up is our version of Sunday School. The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events – presenting the story of redemption through Jesus.
Preschoolers, infants – 4 year olds, participate in Wee Connect Sunday School, 9:15 am-10:15 am and our second hour session at 10:30 am. The Jesus Story Book and Gospel Light curriculum teach preschoolers that every Bible story points to Jesus.

Kidz Summer Camp will be on the Main Campus of DBC again this year! Summer Camp is a unique and memorable experience that can change a child’s life! Each day will contain lots of fun including field trips for a variety of activities, recreation and bible time. This is a “sleep over” not a “day camp”. Kidz Summer Camp is designed especially for boys & girls who have completed the 2nd through 5th grades.
Online Registration begins April 12 at the discounted cost of $125
After May 2 cost will be $140
Camp T-shirt is included in the price—only if registered by June 9!
Camp registration deadline is June 21
All Meals and Activities (laser tag & arcade, zootastic park, celebration carnival, Pelican snowballs, etc.) are included in the price! Total cost is due at time of Registration and is non-refundable.
Once your child is registered online you will receive your camper pack with details on what to bring, what to leave at home and the dress code.
The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
